How do I make the cream coloured layer? Is it the meringue without chocolate?

Cream color layer??

Whatever the 'fake Brigadier' is equals the cream colored layer people are asking about. There appears to be an attempt to provide a link to that recipe/instructions. I believe the recipe matches the photo. I’m having so much trouble trying to determine what language is involved because the English version seems to be a translator, in addition to the font being hard for my older eyes to read. I’d love to make this cake...it looks delicious!
